About RebateOnEnergy

Independence statement

RebateOnEnergy is an independent information site. It is not affiliated with the Government of Canada, any provincial government, utility or rebate program, and it does not administer any rebate. No manufacturer, installer or lender has any say over what our rebate guides say.

Ownership disclosure

RebateOnEnergy is owned and operated by [your operator name], based in New Brunswick, and run by Cameron Brioux. Cameron also works in HVAC sales and in real estate. Those roles have no influence on which programs we cover or which installers appear in organic listings, and we do not use any employer's data or contacts. Paid placements are sold on the published rate card to any eligible business.

Editorial policy

• Every fact links to an official source. Each rebate page lists its sources and we quote amounts, dates and eligibility rules from those documents, not from memory.
• Checked weekly. Every page shows a "last checked" date. Pages not checked in 60 days are flagged for review.
• Unconfirmed facts are marked. Anything we could not verify against an official document is shown in an amber "unconfirmed" callout rather than quietly stated.
• Atlantic Canada first. We publish a province only after verifying its programs. Other provinces show "coming soon" until then.
• Advertising never changes editorial content. Sponsored units are labelled, and organic installer listings are in neutral order.
