Every provincial program on this page can be read alongside the federal National Heat Pump Rebate, which the PMO says can be combined with provincial programs.
- Amount: up to $22,000 for income-qualified households. The general stream is up to $9,000; that figure is per installer 1Click Energy, not confirmed on takeCHARGE.
- Who qualifies: oil-heated homes only. Electric- or wood-heated homes are not eligible.
- Whole-home heating is required. takeCHARGE notes that a single mini-split almost never meets this.

- Retroactive to Apr 1, 2023.
- Equipment: must be on NRCan's OHPA-eligible list.
- Bonus: income-qualified households get a one-time $250 federal payment.
- Financing: takeCHARGE has no general heat pump rebate, but Newfoundland Power offers financing.
